Suellen Rocca at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College

Suellen Rocca will join Sarah Canright, Art Green, Phil Hanson, and Gladys Nilsson for a gallery talk and tour of 3-D Doings: The Imagist Object in Chicago Art, 1964-1980 at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College followed by a panel discussion on Friday, October 26. 3-D Doings: The Imagist Object in Chicago Art, 1964-1980, the first in-depth exploration of the affinity of Chicago Imagist artists for objects, is on view at the Tang from September 8, 2018 through January 6, 2019.

The gallery talk and panel discussion are part of a symposium on the exhibition, which begins on Thursday, October 25 with a conversation with Art Green. On Friday, October 26 beginning at 3 PM the artists will walk through the exhibition and discuss the works on view. At 5 PM, they will be joined by exhibition co-curator Ian Berry for a panel discussion on the 3-D Doings. A transcript from the symposium will form part of the forthcoming exhibition catalogue.
