Martin Puryear's Big Bling has arrived at MASS MoCA

Following its debut in New York at Madison Square Park and subsequent installation in Philadelphia, Martin Puryear's Big Bling has arrived at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, where it will be installed for at least the next five years.

Big Bling is comprised of a multi-tier wood sculpture wrapped in fine chain-link fence. A gold-leafed shackle is anchored near the top of the structure. At forty feet tall, thirty-eight feet across and ten feet deep, it is the artist's largest temporary outdoor sculpture to date.
