Martin Puryear at the Morgan Library & Museum

In conjunction with the exhibition Martin Puryear: Multiple Dimensions, the artist will discuss the role of drawing in his practice with Isabelle Dervaux, Acquavella Curator of Modern & Contemporary Drawings, and Nadia Perucic, Assistant Curator of Modern & Contemporary Drawings. The artist talk will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 6:30 PM, at the Morgan Library and Museum.

An illustrated catalogue with nearly 120 color plates, published by the Art Institute of Chicago will accompany Martin Puryear: Multiple Dimensions. The catalogue is the first to examine Puryear's work across media, providing insight into his visual thinking, from sketches to working drawings and constructions for sculpture.

The talk is open to the public. Tickets are $15, $10 for Morgan Library and Museum Members, and free for students with a valid ID.
