Martin Puryear will join Melvin Edwards, Kellie Jones, and William T. Williams for a conversation on the life and work of Jack Whitten. The conversation will be moderated by Metropolitan Museum of Art curator Kelly Baum, co-curator of the exhibition Odyssey: Jack Whitten Sculpture, 1963-2017. It will take place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium on Friday, September 21 at 6:30 PM.
