Jasper Johns: A Life's Work at the Brooklyn Public Library

On Thursday, April 26, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Wildenstein Plattner Institute will present a talk on Jasper Johns, beginning at 7:30 PM at the Central Library located in Dweck Center.

The evening will begin with a lecture by Caitlin Sweeney, Director of Digital Publications at the Wildenstein Plattner Institute and contributor to Jasper Johns Catalogue Raisonné of Painting and Sculpture. Afterwards, Martha Wilson and John Yau will join Sweeney for a discussion on living legacy, the archive and preservation.

A copy of the catalogue, on view for this event, will be acquired by the Brooklyn Public Library, giving continued access to this published survey of Johns’ work.

The event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
