In the Tower: Anne Truitt Symposium

To coincide with In the Tower: Anne Truitt, the National Gallery of Art will host a public symposium on Truitt. The event will take place on Friday, January 19 and include illustrated lectures by Miguel de Baca, Terra Foundation Visiting Professor of American Art, University of Oxford, and associate professor, department of art history, Lake Forest College; Jem Cohen, filmmaker; Rachel Harrison, artist; and Anna Lovatt, Marguerite Hoffman Scholar in Residence, Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University. A panel discussion follows, moderated by James Meyer, curator of art, 1945–1974, National Gallery of Art.
