Martin Puryear Connecting at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing

Following an unveiling ceremony on Tuesday, May 8, Martin Puryear's Connecting is now on view at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. The 31 foot tall sculpture, a decade in the making, was commissioned by the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE).

The sculpture is a gift of the artist with additional funding support provided by Bank of America, The Honorable Ronald S. Lauder and Mrs. Jo Carole Lauder and Maria Hummer-Tuttle and Robert Tuttle, donated in honor of Agnes Gund.
