Smithsonian American Art Museum sculpture curator Karen Lemmey and fine art specialist Bill Caine of the GSA Art in Architecture Program will deliver a gallery talk as part of Martin Puryear: Multiple Dimensions on Thursday, August 4 at 5:30 PM. Karen Lemmey and Bill Caine will discuss the importance of public art and examine Puryear’s maquettes for Bearing Witness and the new forty-foot high Big Bling. A site visit to view Bearing Witness at the Ronald Reagan Building follows the talk.
