The Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris will include commissioned artworks by Ellsworth Kelly. The 3,850 square meter museum designed by Frank Gehry opens to the public on October 27, 2014. For the building's auditorium Kelly created Spectrum VIII, a curtain consisting of 12 colored panels. Five monochrome paintings by Kelly are also part of the artist's site-specific, permanent installation in the museum's auditorium.
