In his video interview with the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's Louisiana Channel, Darren Almond traces the history of his Fullmoon series. This 17.5 minute video includes many images of his photographs taken around the world under the light of a full moon. Almond explains in the beginning he was unsure if it would be possible to take pictures lit only by the moon.
In 2015 Taschen compiled Almond's entire Fullmoon series into a catalogue with over 260 photographs. The catalogue features an introduction by Sheena Wagstaff, head of the Modern and Contemporary Art Department of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, and an in-depth essay by writer and critic Brian Dillon.
