Charles Ray at the American Academy in Rome

To celebrate the opening of Charles Ray, Mountain Lion Attacking a Dog at the American Academy in Rome, Ray will hold two artist talks. On Wednesday, May 17, the artist will deliver a lecture titled Contemporary Sculpture from the Past at 6 PM at Villa Aurelia. The following day, preceding the opening of his exhibition, he will discuss his own works in the AAR Lecture Room at 6 PM.

Charles Ray is the Deenie Yudell Artist in Residence at the American Academy in Rome this spring.

Both lectures are free, open to the public, and made possible by the Syde Hurdus Foundation.
