Printed with an unprecedented fidelity to the photographer’s original prints, Robert Adams: The Place We Live, A Retrospective Selection of Photographs, 1964–2009 surveys all of the artist’s major projects. Volumes one and two present his photographs in a sequence of nearly four hundred tritone plates alongside texts Adams has written for his photobooks. Volume three offers a detailed chronology of the photographer’s life, an illustrated bibliography of his monographs, and three essays on his work and vision.
