This artist book comprises 42 drawings of architectural and structural forms executed by McMakin between 1996 and 2002. Jan Tumlir writes, "The drawings are composed 'on the fly,' apparently, apace with developing thought. Or better, they evidence the absolute imbrication of these two activities, thinking and drawing, within moments of their mutual emergence." All the drawings are reproduced actual size and invite the viewer to better understand McMakin's creative process as it unfolds day to day.
